California Condor
California Condors are absolutely massive birds. With a wingspan of up to 9.5 feet, they are excellent at soaring. Condors are closely related to vultures, both of which are scavengers and provide an important clean up service in nature. Beauty is not often a word used to describe scavengers looks, but the lack feathers on their head is actually really cool. It is an evolutionary trait that prevents ectoparasites that hang out on dead animals from attaching to the feathers on their head. Function over fashion all the way.
I designed this image to following the golden ratio. Please note that the avalible dimensions are different then the rest of my prints for sale.
