Great Blue Heron

Pen and watercolor Great Blue Heron. Birds are modern descendants from dinosaurs (specifically theropods, think T-Rex and velociraptor). GBHs make this ancestral connection very apparent. They seem prehistoric in appearance and their ungodly croaks! Spear fish with dagger bill. Cool.
