Peregrine Falcons are the fastest birds in the world. They can dive at speeds around 200 mph. Now that’s fast. These birds were critically endangered in the 70s from the widespread use of the herbicide, DDT. The rehabilitation effort for Peregrine Falcons is considered to be one of the most successful.
