Description: pen and watercolor. This is Slim. She got her name because she is an unusually small female Golden Eagle. Most female birds of prey are quite a bit bigger than their male counterparts. She is Morley Nelson’s (important conservationist) last living bird that he trained for falconry. Drawn for my Artist in Residence.
